Gerrel Marquez

Hello! I'm Gerrel Marquez, a current 4th year B.F.A. in Music Theatre at the University of California, Irvine with an expected graduation in the Spring of 2025. Born in Italy and raised in Maryland, I found my love for theatre and performance early with my big brothers performing in their high school theatre program. Having moved to the West Coast, it has totally been a journey to get where I am right now, I have cofounded and run an undergraduate theatre group called Metro Theatre Company, participated in Improv Revolution, wrote sketch comedy, and directed multiple productions at UCI. After graduation, I'm excited to be moving to the East Coast (again) to continue my passion for the arts. You may find me cooking different meats, watching camping videos, and/or crying there.
